Skyhawks never stop learning because life doesn’t stop teaching: An SVCC Alum shares career advice and leadership tools

Join 2023 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, Roberto Carmona, for insight on career development and practical skills from one Skyhawk to another. Roberto graduated from SVCC in 1985, continuing his education at Harvard. As President of Carmona Strategic Solutions (CSS), Roberto has helped a variety of businesses and organizations develop strategic priorities. His company currently serves as a consultant for the State of Illinois’ Capital Development Board (CDB) where they developed an outreach program to increase the number of minority, women, and veteran owned enterprises and tradespersons participating in the CDB. Roberto is a nationally recognized thought leader and requested speaker in leadership development, and strategy.
